Make academic performance measurable
An academic's value sits scattered across sources — publications in YÖK Akademik, citations in Scopus, national work in TR Dizin. Collecting it by hand takes weeks and sparks a dispute every time. A-Score gathers the data from these sources for every academic automatically, matches it and turns it into a single performance score using the institution's criteria. The data layer is extensible: Web of Science or Google Scholar can be added tomorrow.

What it does
Multi-source, automatic data
Articles, proceedings, books, thesis supervisions and citations are pulled from YÖK Akademik, Scopus and TR Dizin; cross-source matches (YÖK–Scopus, Scopus–TR Dizin) are detected.
Institution-specific performance score
Parameters such as publications, citations, seminars and teaching load are scored on target-versus-actual with the percentage weights the institution sets.
Flexible criteria management
Administrators add new criteria and set their weight; the calculation updates immediately. Each faculty can use its own criteria set.
Comparison
See two academics, departments or faculties side by side by publications, citations and year.
Faculty and university reports
Publication distribution, yearly trends and performance summaries at faculty/department and university level as ready reports.
Academic profile
Every academic can review their publications, yearly distribution and performance grade in their own profile.

An indicator of real academic value
Rectorate, deans and department heads see each academic's value based on data, not estimates; appointment, promotion and incentive decisions rest on a transparent calculation. Academics follow where their score comes from and which criteria they are missing in their own profile.
- Publication and citation data is never collected by hand; it is pulled and matched automatically
- Criteria and weights belong to the institution; the calculation is transparent and traceable
- A shared panel for rectorate, deans and department heads; a personal profile for each academic
- An architecture that accepts new data sources
